Alsterkrug history and tradition
The Alsterkrug Hotel has a long tradition. On October 5, 1720, the Alsterkrug was first mentioned under this name in the land register of the Johanniskloster. At the time, the owner was a Johann Hinsche, who also had the licence to serve beer and brandy. The Alsterkrug was one of the first inns on Heerstrasse to Langenhorn - and is therefore one of the most traditional inns in Hamburg.
Following on this long history, you will live in a modern and cozy atmosphere and receive a welcome drink at the bar. We have also included a “must do” on your city trip to Hamburg in this offer - a city tour with the red double-deckers bus (Hop On Hop Off). The tour takes you along the Speicherstadt, through HafenCity to the city's shopping streets! Experience the great villas in Harvestehude on the Alster, the town hall, various museums, the famous Reeperbahn and the breath-taking harbour.
For this package we have a flexible cancellation policy - free of charge up to 3 days before arrival!
