Our Hanseatic city of Hamburg is often regarded as a cultural treasure, as the city boasts a rich history and a wealth of cultural contributions: Historical significance as a trading city Hamburg is one of the oldest trading cities in Germany and has a long history as an important port and hub for international trade. Architecture The Old Town with its historic buildings, the Speicherstadt – the world’s largest warehouse complex, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991 – and modern structures such as the Elbphilharmonie are examples of the city’s cultural richness. Music and art The city boasts world-renowned concert venues such as the Elbphilharmonie and is home to numerous theatres, opera houses and art galleries. The music scene has also produced many famous artists, including the Beatles, who performed in Hamburg in the early 1960s. Q: Purchasing & Procurement

We try to prioritise products and services from suppliers who also use sustainable practices. Our focus is on the use of local food and environmentally friendly hotel products. Hotel cosmetics with Cradle to Cradle standards, completely vegan, cruelty-free and free from microplastics, silicones, mineral oils and parabens At least 70% of our products and services for the hotel's F&B area are sourced from suppliers within a radius of ≤ 100 km Washing of e.g. bed linen, towels, bathrobes is carried out by a laundry in the immediate neighbourhood We prefer to offer regionally produced drinks (Magnus mineral water, Fritz soft drinks, Ratsherrn Pilsner...)

Q: Waste management

When designing green spaces and outdoor areas, we take care to protect biodiversity and take measures to promote its development.
