A bathrobe is available in your hotel room. Slippers are available at reception. Towels are available in the SPA area and must remain there
Textile-free
The sauna area is a textile-free zone in Germany.
Sauna use
The sauna cabin is entered dry after showering. To ensure that no heat is lost, the sauna door must be closed again quickly each time it is opened.
If you feel unwell or start to feel dizzy, please leave the sauna.
Emergency call
There is an emergency call button to the reception desk in every sauna.
SPA treatments
For total relaxation, you should be ready about ten minutes before your appointment so that you don't arrive rushed. This also gives you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the facilities, shower and change if necessary.
If you are late, the treatment time will be shortened accordingly. The treatment ends on time so that the next guest does not have to wait. Appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. Please understand that we have to charge 90% after this time, as the appointment has been kept free for you.
Hygiene
Paper towels and disinfectant spray are available for disinfecting the fitness equipment.
For reasons of hygiene, the basic rule in our saunas is: no sweat on wood. There must always be a towel between your body and the bench - this also applies to your feet. Shower before the first sauna session.
Children
Children from 0-6 years are not allowed in the fitness & sauna area. Children aged 7-12 must be accompanied by their parents. Parents are liable for their children.
Mutual consideration
To ensure that all guests have a relaxing stay at the alsterSPA, consideration must be shown for each other:
It is therefore not permitted to "reserve" deckchairs with towels for hours on end. The relaxation area is a quiet zone. This means: no loud conversations and no loud laughter. Mobile phones are not permitted in the relaxation area. The alsterSPA is a non-smoking area. Shaving is also not permitted. Personal valuables can be deposited in the safe in the hotel room or in the lockers in the changing area. The sauna and fitness area is a pet-free zone.
Food and drinks
Food is not permitted in the alsterSPA. To avoid injuries, no glass containers are permitted anywhere in the alsterSPA.
