Say hello - to e-mobility at the Alsterkrug
Our service
To provide our guests with a contemporary, modern and climate-neutral travel experience, we have equipped our underground car park with five public e-charging points for electric vehicles. Here you can charge your electric car at your leisure and be sure that it is ready for your next day trip. Our electric charging points for electric vehicleshave type 2 plugs and use 100% green electricity and are therefore CO2-neutral.
We offer our guests three different payment options for charging their electric cars at our electric charging stations. Firstly, via the payment app of your own provider and that of WIRELANE, then via the QR code at the e-charging station with your smartphone and credit card and the third option is via the Alsterkrug RFID card, which you will receive at reception. You will be billed via your hotel bill.
- Wallbox: WIRELANE
- Charging power: 22 kW
- Charging cable: Type 2 (EN 62196-2)
- Payment options: Payment app from all providers, by credit card via your smartphone or via the Alsterkrug RFID card on your hotel bill
Charge your e-vehicle "in your sleep". We will be happy to reserve a space with charging facilities for you in our underground car park. The respective parking fees plus electricity costs apply to our parking spaces.
We offer our cycling guests a free e-bike charging station via the Schuko sockets in our underground car park. If you would like to explore the Alsterlauf or Hamburg by bike, you can hire bikes and e-bikes from the Alsterkrug for a fee.
General information about e-mobility
E-mobility refers to the use of vehicles that are powered by electricity. This includes not only e-cars, but also e-bikes and e-buses. Electric vehicles are more efficient, quieter, do not emit any pollutants into the environment when driving and therefore have an even better environmental footprint than diesel or petrol vehicles. E-mobility is an efficient cornerstone on the road to a climate-neutral society. Calculated over their lifetime, e-cars already have a considerable CO2 advantage over petrol cars. As oil reserves are gradually dwindling, e-mobility is the alternative for the future of tomorrow.
