You will inspire us:

  • At least a good secondary school leaving certificate
  • Age of majority is an advantage
  • Initial practical experience through an internship in the hotel/catering industry is an advantage
  • Flexibility and organisational skills

  • Guest-orientation and good manners
  • Good knowledge of MS Office programmes
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, further language skills are an advantage

Your tasks:

  • Welcoming, advising and looking after guests
  • Preparing and checking guest rooms
  • Serving food and drinks, wine service
  • Service, food and beverage knowledge
  • Decorating rooms and tables
  • Working at the bar - mixing cocktails and mixed drinks
  • Different types of service - e.g. carving, filleting, working at the guest's table
  • Conducting sales talks and preparing offers
  • Making event arrangements, calculations, creating functions
  • Work with a hotel booking system and manage a hotel cash register
  • Plan, organise and carry out events on site
  • Plan staff deployment, merchandise management
  • Coordinate service processes and manage a service station
